THIS IS A GOOD NEWS TO GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES. PLEASE CALCULATE AND YOU WILL FIND THAT THE GOVERNMENT HIRES YOU AT HALF THE PAY IN CASE THE RETIREMENT AGE IS INCREASED. YOUR PENSION BENEFITS REMAINS SAME INSPITE OF PUTTING IN EXTRA 2 YEARS. PRAY GOD THAT THEY DO NOT RAISE THE RETIREMENT AGE.

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHETHER THERE IS ANY PROPOSAL TO BRING DOWN THE VRS FROM 20 YEARS TO 15 YEARS SIMILAR TO DEFENSE?

It is good decision not to increase retirement age. By paying less salary they can appoint a young person and get more work than aged one.

It is very good if government considers pension scheme for novodaya employees. It must be considered, as kv employees are covered under pension. If it is not considered it is step-mother treatment by the government.

Increase in age will only create more unemployment problem. Already there is no charm in Govt. services. All the intellect are not for Govt. service. Only the useless lot will come to Govt. jobs.

Good decision not to increase the retirement age. In this era of Job loss across india and world, let the younger generation start to win bread for their families.
