Following is the text of the Press Statement issued by the Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions today, to clarify that there is no proposal before the Government regarding raising the retirement age of Central Government employees from 60 years to 62 years :-
“Attention of the Government has been drawn to reports appearing in some
sections of the media regarding raising the retirement age of Central Government
employees from 60 to 62 years. In order to put at rest all such speculations, it
is clarified that there is no such proposal before the Government.”
THIS IS A GOOD NEWS TO GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES. PLEASE CALCULATE AND YOU WILL FIND THAT THE GOVERNMENT HIRES YOU AT HALF THE PAY IN CASE THE RETIREMENT AGE IS INCREASED. YOUR PENSION BENEFITS REMAINS SAME INSPITE OF PUTTING IN EXTRA 2 YEARS. PRAY GOD THAT THEY DO NOT RAISE THE RETIREMENT AGE.
ReplyDeleteCAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHETHER THERE IS ANY PROPOSAL TO BRING DOWN THE VRS FROM 20 YEARS TO 15 YEARS SIMILAR TO DEFENSE?
It is good decision not to increase retirement age. By paying less salary they can appoint a young person and get more work than aged one.

"Pension Benifit to the staff of Navodaya Vidylaya"
ReplyDeleteDanik jagran has reported that the Govt. is considering to bring the staff of Navodaya Vidylaya under the pension rule applicable to other staff of Kendriya Vidyalaya

It is very good if government considers pension scheme for novodaya employees. It must be considered, as kv employees are covered under pension. If it is not considered it is step-mother treatment by the government.
ReplyDeleteIncrease in age will only create more unemployment problem. Already there is no charm in Govt. services. All the intellect are not for Govt. service. Only the useless lot will come to Govt. jobs.

what ever might be the situation, the rtetirement age should be increased for suitable person with additional salary
ReplyDeleteGood decision not to increase the retirement age. In this era of Job loss across india and world, let the younger generation start to win bread for their families.
