the sixth pay comission should look separately into the service conditions of the conditions of the central police organizations, considering the marked difference in the nature of the service and the nature of postings ( long stretches in remote locations). Grp C-D employees , the backbone of such organizations deserve a better deal this time compared to the last pay commission.

qcb6th pay commission should be annouced before November 2007 and implemented from 1/1/2006 because there are chances of govt. to fall before Jan.2008. Nowdays govt employees work hareder as compare to pvt sector, but media changes the scenario . So they should be given proper salaries. let congress to decide as political party because 6th pay commission is in thier hand and failure will count for conress and if sucessful then fruitful for congress. let them decide

Pay for performace should be the basis in Govt organisation as well.
There can be measures for all the activites. May be district can be taken as SBU and parameters for development of that SBU can be decided and eveluation can be done that basis.
Economic Growth, eductaion, Health, Infra and funds management at District Level can be taken as measure of sucesse for IAS officer for the District.
In practice we can even look at ROI for the district in 1 three nad 5 year frame.
What we need is a strong will power and and a good measurement system

Its a pity that whenever better salaries/ benefits of govt. employees are discussed, the media generally come forward against this citing non-performance of the govt. employees. It may be true that certain section of people who are in comfortable govt jobs in offices shirk to their reponsibilities, but it is also a harsh fact that a large section of govt. employees consisting of CPOs, paramilitary, security (and also the army)work diligently in those areas where any human being will shudder to go. Far off from their families, not able to attend their problems and that too with frequent spell of transfers. Has anyone tried to pay attention to those unfamed people who destroys their share of enjoyment for doing such arduous tasks. You may simply term it as their duty but I do also request to you not to abuse their efforts in bringing up their children and also caring for the security of this country in which we pass every night very peacefully.

The pay commission should consider the current salaries and the increments allotted in the private sectors. While comparing to them govt employees geeting a little oonly. Also it should be implemented soon.

    Respected sir,

In Military and Paramilitary forces several jawans are serving whose educational qualifcation are equal to their officers but there is a lot of differnce between their pay. This jwans are belong to very poor family and due to poverty they join in Military and Paramilitary where their pay are not as per their educational qualification.
So there is a need to either create a promotion plicy for such type of Jawans i.e. their seniority be maintained separtly and their promotion quota be fixed separtly or separt financial incentive be granted to them as per their educational qualifications so that they can done their duties with sincerly.

    thanks

    your sincerly
    a Jawans

The implementaion of current 6th pay commission to central govt. employees is not upto mark. It ignored other scientific peoples(except Sci. E&F). This is very shameful.

National Archives of India is an attach office to The Ministry of Culture, New Delhi employees of this office such as the Assistant Archivist & Archivist are highly qualified with minimum PG Qualification, good research experience & Doctorate degrees but they are in the pay scale at par with the Central govt. Pay scale of the Assistant Grade whose minimum qualifiation is only a degree, this kind of impairment of pay scale should be corrected atleast in this 6th Pay commission, as the importance of the office is enhanced because of the RTI and thus the staff of the office & its regional offices should be brought to the par of the educational qualification of the staff.
