It is a very strong rumour in the Babu circle (Babudom!) that Government is planning for a 10% interim relief alongwith Notification of constituation of Sixth Pay Commission. Some rumour say interim relief will be 5%. But I think it is the Babu's wish list and they want that some interim relief should be announced, therefore this rumour is gaining ground.

ReplyDeleteYes, immediately an interim relief of at least 10% should be given by the govt as we very much need it.
ReplyDeleteI would like to go ahead and say that Pay Commissions should be held 5 yearly and inbetween every year an automatic interim relief of atleast 6% should be given to beat inflation. This way pay commission can concentrate on other service issues.
